Kala Brand Artist Marlowe Teichman is originally from Haslett, MI but is now living in Saint Paul, MN and majoring in Music Business at McNally Smith College of Music. She picked up her first ukulele four-and-a-half-years ago going into her freshman year of high school and has barely set it down since. She believes there are no boundaries when playing the ukulele and explores it’s wide range in her playing and songwriting. Marlowe has recorded a ten-song full length album, a Christmas album, and most recently, her self-titled EP “Marlowe”. She’s auditioned for “America’s Got Talent” (she’s still waiting to see if she’s been accepted) and has had the opportunity to play with and for Jake Shimabukuro.
