Over the past seven years, Michigan has become “The Great Uke State”, celebrating the joy of the diminutive yet dynamic ukulele with over a dozen uke groups across the state, the Mighty Uke Day and Uketoberfest festivals, Midwest Uke Camp, and other ukulele events. The ukulele helps bring folks together from 8 – 88 years old and has become a big part of the Michigan musical culture. Mini Uke Day is a smaller version of Mighty Uke Daywith all the same fun. Details will be announced as they develop.

Mini Uke Day 2 was Maxi Fun! The attendees had a great time and learned a lot from Andy Andrews and everyone enjoyed the evening concert with Andy and The Ukulele Kings.

Our first Mini Uke Day was a blast! Big thanks to Victor and Penny, The Fabulous Heftones, and everyone who attended and helped out. Photos from Sara Wagner are available here and videos here.
