Our Friday Flash Mob in Downtown Lansing signals the beginning of Mighty Uke Day and is always a lot of fun for the performers and audience alike! We hope you can be a part of it, here’s how it all works:

11:45 – Park somewhere downtown, north of the corner of N. Washington and E. Michigan Avenues and meet near the corner of Ottawa and N. Washington (#1 on the map.) You’ll need change for the meters.

12:00 – Flash Mob Leader Dave Pasant and couple of other players will start playing “Jamaica Farewell” at the NE corner of N. Washington and E. Michigan, outside the Troppo restaurant (#2 on the map). Everyone else should hang back at the beginning then walk up and join them in pairs or small groups and start playing along.

Songs are available for download here, print or store them on your tablet and bring them along with your uke and music stand (along with clips or clothespins in case of wind), and come help us kick off Mighty Uke Day!
